Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, and the family relocated into Victoria within London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she was unable to study English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. When she was 16 she left school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her a job as a model.
