Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actor, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk is the daughter of a Briton as well as an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Early on Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. Anna relocated to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade.
